Web Design Contract FAQs

  • The website design contract is an agreement between the client and the designer. It outlines the project description, costs, schedule, & copyright notice that comes into effect at the handover of your website, after the last payment has gone through.

  • The designer agrees to create your website according to the web design plan. This will include what has been agreed in terms of branding specifications, pages, content, images (placeholder or provided), and functionality.

  • The client agrees to:

    * the costs and the dates of payments.

    * the number of revisions

    * the schedule

    * how long free ongoing support lasts after the turnover of website design and copyright.

  • The client sigs the contract agreement after:

    1. The discovery call

    2. Answering a few questions in a site planning Word doc where you let us know about your business, brand, and website goals.

    After you send this back, you’ll get your onboarding pack which includes:

    * information about pricing and how to pay the deposit

    * the timeline for the project

    * a contract to sign.
